I know I’ve said on my previous Goddess Gloss reviews that the gold one was on my list , and you know what I did it. I reviewed both Rainbow and Angelic , both which I really liked as they remind me of Too Faced’s Life’s Festival collection, with their unicorn tears, angel tears and mermaid tears.
This has got to be one of my favorite lip gloss formula’s , even in the tube it’s very sparkly. It’s a nice soft gold shimmer.
Here it is without flash and it looks like a more solid gold.
And in direct light, it’s amazing ! Look at that shine!
The gloss is a bit thicker but still easy to spread. And it pretty much stays on your lips all day , smudging only when you eat or drink.
Up close it’s more subtle, but there’s still that nice gold shimmer. It looks pretty good on it’s own.

I wanted to do a more bold eye look , to contrast with the lip.
While I liked the gloss on it’s own I also wanted to experiment with using it as a topper.
And since I was going for a bold look, let’s try it with a black lipstick! I was actually really impressed ! You could still see the gold shimmer and it really made the matte black look fancy. Of course if black isn’t your color I could see using it with a matte red or darker brown .
upclose so you can see the gloss and my eyes .I wanted to do a batwing , and also play around with yellows too. A few years ago I would not be pairing yellow with blue hair , but you know what the contrast isn’t bad.
I think I need to get some darker lip colors! I like using these as toppers. Also I may need to grab the teal one next. Let me know what you think.

Oh wow! It looks even more stunning on top of the black lipstick!
