I never actually got around to trying the original Unicorn Tears when Too Faced first released it back some years ago, I had Urban Decay Asphyxia which I thought was similar. Then they released the Life’s a Festival collection and I saw it in store and knew I had to have it. Since then it has become one of my favorite lipsticks. I mainly use it as a topper for my matte lipsticks , but it does look pretty cool on its own as well. Today I will be showing how it looks on bare lips as well as a topper for some mattes that I have in my collection.

The first lipstick I used with Unicorn Tears was actually Jeffree Star’s Liquid velour in Blow Pony. I love how bright this color is but the Unicorn Tears makes it a bit extra in a good way.
Last year I tried out the Maybelline ColorSensational Powder mattes and had mixed results. the two colors I tried were Smokey Jade and Concrete Jungle . Both are a bot streaky , so I liked to use a topper over them. For Unicorn Tears I chose Concrete Jungle since it really makes the color stand out.
and finally one of my first reviews I used Unicorn Tears over Maybelline Superstay Matte ink in Philospher. It reallyn makes the Philosopher look like a different lip color.
I really hope Too Faced keeps Unicorn Tears around , its pretty fun to play around with. I’ll be sad if they discontinue it. Also I did buy Angel Tears for a friend who wears mainly nude mattes, and that is also another color I would reccomend as well if you like a more warm toned sparkle. Also on I side note this lipstick smells like marshamllows or vanilla. I love it.
I have never tried lipstick from Two Faced. I might have to check some out now. Great post!

Wow! I love how Unicorn Tears looks over all the lippies, but I think it looks simply amazing over Concrete Jungle. ♥

It definitely one of my favorite ways to wear it . Plus Concrete Jungle by itself is pretty patchy .
