wet n wild chameleon chrome highlighter in venus swing review

And my final Chameleon Chrome review , at least for now until I find the rest of the collection. I saved the highlighter for last , and I’m really happy I chose Venus Swing. It’s pretty unique in my small highlighter collection. It has an amazing blue shift that looks very ethereal , and can look silver , blue or even kind of pinkish depending on the light. It was honestly a little harder to find the right lighting and angles to photograph but I tried my best.

The mermaid scale imprint is super cute too .

It’s also a very slim packaging , and while I was afraid it would break when shipped , thankfully , it was wrapped in bubble wrap and came to me in one piece.

It looks more white silver in the pan .

Also it was super easy to pick up with both my fan highlighter brush and my flat eye shadow brush. I had no trouble swiping it on my arm for the swatches and it’s easy to build intensity.

More silver here
I feel like my phone can’t capture the blue reflect as well which is pretty sad. But this is with no flash.

Indirect flash I was able to capture the sparkle a little better , you can kind of see some green . I was also testing some of the previous multichrome Chameleon chrome liner and Colourpop Shadow stix.

And finally we can actually see the colors, I used Venus Swing in the center of my eyes with just a bit of Nyx Glitter Primer ,which makes it easier to see the blue shimmer , and also higher on my cheeks . My skin is not the best and kind of textured , but up close you can see how it sort of sparkles pink and blue.

I’m seriously considering ordering the green one as well . I like how the shimmer is noticeable but not as chunky as say the Nyx buttermelt highlighter but more similar to the Glamlite Concha Highlighter .

With flash on the highlighter looks more silvery and a bit more sheer on my eyes .

Also using my setting spray over the little star stamps made them run and look weird , I tried fixing them by making them bigger , but they looked more like flowers . So I decided to add some pale blue leaves and dots. Now their lilies .

Also I need to get more cool toned blushes, I tried the more candy pink Sugarpill blush , but now I wonder if I need a fuchsia or another lilac shade ?

I think this is one of the cooler highlighter that I’ve tried , I’m a little sad that some of the full face pictures didn’t show as much blue . But I still think this is a great silvery/blue highlighter that slightly shifts to pink . It reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Unicorn Tears highlighter stick and the powder shadow that came in the Too Faced Life’s A Festival palette. I sadly never bought the Unicorn Tears stick highlighter that was shaped like a unicorn horn as my skin wasn’t the greatest at the time. But I remember testing it out in the store . It was similar to this but I think Venus Swing might be a bit more intense . So if you missed out on all the Unicorn Tears highlighter (powder and stick) this is a great dupe for those . I do wish Too Faced would bring back the Unicorn Tears lipstick and highlighter , but at least we have Wet n Wild Chameleon Chrome collection.

Overall I think this Venus Swing is a winner ! And I would highly recommend it. Let me know in the comments what are some of your favorite highlighters ? Also have any of you tried the Kaleidos Space Age highlighters? I’ve always wanted to try those too. Well have a great week everyone ✨🦄.
