kylie cosmetics plumping powder matte lip in Chocolate teddy review

And more influenster makeup ! This time’s it’s a new Kylie Cosmetics plumping powder matte lipstick . I’ve never tried Kylie cosmetics but one of my friend’s was a huge fan of Kylie Jenner and her makeup line , and she loved playing that Kim Karadashian game too . So I’m kind of excited to try this out . 

It’s a really nice chocolate shade , but in certain light can be more on the milk chocolate spectrum.

It’s does dry down really fast and smells like chocolate and vanilla . This formula also has a a plumping effect.  It does sting and tingle but doesn’t last long and mostly just felt like eating overly spicy food. It didn’t bother me much but if you are one that doesn’t like tingly feelings on your lips I would pass.

This is how it looks under flash freshly applied. I really like how easy it is to shape my lips with the little doe foot brush. Now I’m going to go into the negatives , this product is super drying on the lips . And yes I know it’s a matte powder product , but there better formulas that are similar from Wet n Wild and Nyx . And it seems to be very popular in C beauty lines as well , which I do plan on ordering some lipsticks from both Girl Cult and Kaleidos. Sadly even Jeffee Star liquid lipsticks are better than this . It just dries my lips so much even with lip balm.

A picture I took after a few minutes of it drying also no flash so you can see the nice chocolate color. It does kind of feel powdery but it’s just so drying . It doesn’t look as bad from far away though.

I do really like this shade of chocolate though.

Also I think it’s time I did a full review of the Juvia’s Place Candy Shop palette , I started playing around with after having it for a few months . It’s really a nice palette and I think it goes well with this lipstick .

 

So I wore this lipstick for only a bout three days , but I don’t think I would want to wear it as an everyday lipstick, It’s way to drying and I have so many other better formulas that are more comfortable . Which is really sad as it’s a really nice color . I gave it about 3 stars on Influenster , as the color and longevity are pretty good and it still beats out Coloured Rain’s formula ( it also flaked as well as being too dry), but for me the dryness is a deal breaker .
