cosrx the 6 peptide skin booster serum review

Hey everyone !I’m back with more skincare . This time is COSRX 6 peptide skin booster serum. This is one of my third serums that I’ve tried , the last two being Jlo beauty that JLO glow serum and the Eve Lom  TIme Retreat Radiance Essence Anti-aging face brightning serum. I really didn’t care for either and so I really haven’t messed with serums too much. I do get the idea behind them though, a product to use after cleansing and right before applying moisturizer. This one looked interesting as it has peptides and amino acids is supposed to help with skin texture , as well as being hydrating too.

I actually got this in April , but I have been testing it out for a while to see exactly how well I like it. A little background with my skin, it’s acne prone, has a bit of texture , can be oily , but also can get too dry if I go overboard with cleansers or acne products . So for my skin regimine is very try soemthing and try to alternate days when to use certain products . I had issues even with one of my sunscreen creams , at first for the review I thought it was okay, but if I use it too often my skin breaks out. It’s kind of a pain. So I’m really picky with products . I have used this with good results with Laneige water cream, Eve Lom moisturizer, the Youth to the People moisturizer , and the Well People Cleanser . But I had some issues with a toner from the Ordinary . So after using this for almost three months , my skin was doing pretty good, then I tried the toner. My skin broke out . And I just decided the best thing to do was discontinue all products for a while .Because I had used this with not really any issues , I was able to kind of see this wasn’t the problem product , but The Toner was , so I decied to try just using the toner by itself to see, and yup it broke out again.  Now I’m back to my normal routine and I really haven’t had any products with this serum. It is a bit sticky or dewy when it dries and looks a bit odd. So I use this at night right before bed . I do like that it does seem to even out my skin and makes my skin softer. One novel thing I did try was using this on top of a moisturizer and it still kind of worked .  Overall I don’t use this every day but I like using it a few times a week.  I do think it’s a fair price for the bottle ,and  works pretty well even for my picky acne prone skin.  Let me know what you think and if you have tried any other products from COSRX. have  great week!
