Nyx jumbo eye pencil review in Macaroon

IMG_4082It’s time for a mini review! I loved the milk so much I wanted to try this nice beautiful mint green shade. And you know what these are some of the best large multitask liners I’ve tried. You can check out my previous review of the Wet n Wild Multitask sticks in Royal Scam and  Lavender Bliss. Those were not the best ! But thankfully this liner is great and works just as well as the white liner.

IMG_4085The shade is a nice pastel mint green , and swipes super easy. It’s not too creamy nor stiff and mostly stays put. I say mostly because I did make a mistake on my eyes and was able to smudge it with my brush. For this review I tested it both as liner by itself and also with a metallic shadow layered on top.

IMG_4141 While not perfect on my lids I loved how nice the lines are . And yes you can sharpen this liner , you just need to use a large sharpener. I do think if the enviroment is a bit humid it might smudge more , so I would definitely reccomend maybe layering a very similar shade of shadow over it. I didn’t do that for the pictures, but when I went out in the summer heat, I used a brush and applied a mint shadow from Glamlite to set it. I do think the metallic shimmer held up really well though. I used a thinner brush and set it on top. 

IMG_4142It did hold up for most of the day . I probably should’ve taken pictures of my other graphic liner look with another shimmer on top. I think that’s one of the best things about this liner is how tacky it is . It’s really good for using with other shadows.

I couldn’t really take good full face pics , I was having issues showing off the eyemakeup . So be prepared for wonky angles !

IMG_4178And yes you can see the smudged liner a bit more with my eyes closed. But I still feel that was more due to user error.

And I added more violet and blue to my hair , I’m trying to tone it a bit so I can finally test out the Lime Crime Powder . I’m also considering going grey too. 

Well overall I really liked the consistency , the color and how nice it is . i think I will continue to use this one for graphic liner , I just need to sharpen it and make it a bit more pointy. Plus I think I want to try more colors to and rebuy the white liner too. Let me know what you think. Have a great week !

      2. I know you’ll get it !! Have you ever used Kohl pens or liners before . Maybelline and palladio used to have some really nice ones . They have cone shaped tips and you just swipe on the side , so you don’t need to sharpen . I used to love using them for smudgy looks .

      3. I’ve heard about them, but haven’t tried them yet. I’ve been gathering information before I go out and buy makeup. Because I’m always so overwhelmed when I see all the stuff. 😂

      4. that’s a good idea to be honest. Like even most drustores have a packed makeup aisle with a ton of brands and stuff. I mostly buy my stuff online, but sometimes I’ll see something at the store and it’ll come home with me .
