ColourPop the Nightmare Before Christmas Individual Crystal Sheet review

I finally got around to using these! I ordered this with the Jelly Much shadow from the same Nightmare Before Christmas collection . I really wanted to play around with face crystals and they seem to be at peak popularity with Euphoria influenced makeup looks . Even out in the wild , I’ve seen baristas and people shopping , wearing their fancy face gems .

And like the Jelly Much shadow, I had to take pictures with the blacklight to show off how cool the packaging is. Honestly I kind of wish some of the actual crystals were UV reactive too ! How cool would that be?

Now as for on the eyes , I was pleasantly surprised with the sticking power. I tried to do kind of a simple look with the jewels for my first look.

This look was created using Juvia’s Place Culture palette , and the white dots are Lime Crime’s Venus liquid liners. I thought the dots would work with the orange I used , plus purples to go with the Halloween theme . I know it’s April 1st but it could be Halloween . 

Here I used three gems on the inner corner. I was going for a asymmetrical style look.  I do think the crystals could’ve been a bit more reflective, but these will still probably work well if you wanted a nice little addition to your make up look. The staying power is also really impressive as these haven’t really budged for hours. I think these would work well for festivals , concerts, or whatever other event where you needed some sparkle.I was pretty happy with the purples .

Overall these are pretty nice, maybe not the sparkliest , but still pretty fun for spicing up makeup. I’ll probably do more with these as there was 72 crystals in the package, and I’ll probably try to reuse the ones on my face.
