Hey everyone ! It’s time for a Influenster post . This time they collaborated with Melē skin care . They sent me a free sample of the Melē plump it up nourishing cream in exchange for my honest opinion .
Now with that out of the way , I wanted to write a review on my blog for this last as it’s a bit negative and I try to focus more on the positive. But if you read any of my posts on IG or Influenster, this cream didn’t work too well for me at all . Like it broke me out . Oh my yeah , it was kind of bad . I tried it at least twice . But sadly my skin just didn’t like this . Plus it was definitely pretty oily. Now I do have an oily skin type so maybe that’s why and it might work on dry skin types . But definitely take caution if you have oily skin or acne prone as it did flare up my skin kind of bad . So with that said , I think I’m done with this product , my rule is if it doesn’t work well the second time on my skin it’s out . Who knows maybe it was the extra Niacinamide? But let me know if any of you have tried other Melē products and your experience with them . Have a great week 💕.
This sounds terrible. I was reading the caption behind the product, though. It says melanin-rich skin tends to have lower levels of ceramides? I don’t know what that is, but it sounds like they’re saying melanin-rich skin needs more moisturizer? I wonder if that’s true.

I’m not really sure , maybe my skin has a bit of a sensitivity to some of the ingredients. Although the Influenster app has an area where I was able to talk with others that tried the product, and even some ladies that were darker were having issues with the breakout . So I’m not really sure , there are probably better moisturizers on the market . Which reminds me I still need to try that coconut pinapple body oil . I have that website bookmarked so I can try that and maybe a face oil too .

Bummer. The brand concept itself sounds very interesting.
