Too Faced Damn Girl! 24 hour Mascara

Today we are going to be looking at the Too Faced Damn Girl! Mini mascara . This is an early access sample that I  recieved in my Sephora order and I’m actually pretty excited to try it since this is supposed to be Too Faced’s follow up to the fan favorite, Better Than Sex .

Now the packaging for this product is noteworthy , its got an almost diamondlike shape and its shimmery . Its actually a very cool looking mascara (case) bottle? Now the wand , is like an infinity symbol , and to me is a bit strange . I’m used to the wands by Butter London, Lancome Mr Big, and  Physicians Formula . This wand  took a while to get used to . The first time I used it , it was a bit clumpy. But I managed to seperate my lashes with an older wand of mine . When I was finished I did notice that my lashes looked thicker, and a little extra . Pretty cool !  I’m kind of a novice with eyelashes , I don’t use an eyelash curler. So I’m sure if you’re someone who curls before and then applies the mascara , the effect would be pretty intense .

Wearing the mascara is actually pretty comfortable , my lashes felt soft and flexible. I had the mascara on for 8 hours and didn’t notice any dryness or flakiness . The smell of the mascara was waxy but inoffensive. And aside from pulling too much product on the wand which could be remedied by wiping off excess product. Although it can run if your eyes are watery , not super bad but to where its noticable . I have summer allergies so sometimes my eyes can be more watery especially when going outside . All in all though this a pretty nice mascara , that definitely gives the effect of fuller,thicker eyelashes.

    1. I like how thick it made my eyelashes , made them very extra lol Also I may have to retract about the mascara running , I forgot I lined my eyes with a black shadow that tends to run when my allergies go nuts .

  3. I am a sucker for packaging, but I’ve learned my lesson over the years (and stopped wasting money!) A lot of TF products are getting pretty bad reviews over the last year or so, but their mascara always seems to hold strong..I’m interested! I do wish they’d reconsider the size and shape of their wands though. They’re SO big and clunky, it’s hard to get in there and really separate/coat the lashes. I have a drugstore brand (Maybelline Great Lash “Lots of Lashes”) its the perfect wand shape with the full base and tapered tip (like a heart shape)…It’d be great if these high-end brands would utilize wands like that with their awesome formulas. Great lashes and review!

    1. I like the formula but for sure it needs a different wand. Like my personal favorite wand style was probably the old Physicians Formula Organic wear , I probably should buy another when I want simplicity. I’ll be on the look out for Maybelline Hearts and Lashes , its sounds pretty cool . Thanks for the recommendation. And thanks ☺️✨
