Hey everyone ! I’ve been gone for a bit , but I wanted to stop by and do a short review . I’ve been busy lately , between a bit of work , games and even writing my own book . It’s been a pretty crazy couple of months and I’ve got a huge backlog of posts and products . Well I have to lock in and start reviewing again! And why not start with one of the more impressive skin products ?
I started using this gel in April , and I’ve been loving it ever since . It’s great for keeping my skin barrier maintained . And it honestly makes my skin super soft and smooth . I’ve never tried a snail mucus product before , but I saw this vegan version made with ectoin ( which I’ve had good luck with ) and the actual mucin slime is made from yams ! It does have a slightly sweet scent too .
The actual texture of the gel is kind of slimey , but it soaks into my face well and while kind of sticky does dry down . I mostly use it in the afternoon and overnight . It pretty much soaks into my skin , so I don’t have to worry about getting slime all over my pillow case .
Plus I found when I use it with other products like the Elf Holy Moisture or Leniege Moisture bank that my skin looks amazing the next day . So definitely a holy grail item in my skin care routine .
Overall I really liked this product and I’m definitely going to be repurchasing it soon .
