Girlcult glass shine gloss in J76 Spiders review

So I’m finally back ! After mostly reviewing random things on Instagram and Tiktok , I want to now focus more on makeup . And of course I wanted to review one of my favorite new makeup brands , Girlcult ! 

Look at how cool this gloss is! I was pretty excited to try the gloss as I’ve only tried the Matte black lipstick  from the Miao witch collection . But I’ve always wanted to try the glosses from the Classic of Bizarre Tales collection . I love how beautiful the packaging on Girl Cult items are , and yes I kkow packaging can sometimes be decieveing but these are really quality pieces from Girlcult . 

And now on to the swatches ! 
the gloss is a very sticky kind if jelly like texture and the base of the gloss is a brownish/black . The shimmers thoughbare pretty holographic looking and have  a green, blue and sometimes silver shift . It really depends on the lighting and angle , so I tried to take alot of pictures to really show exactly how dynamic the shade is . 

It’s kind of like the Fenty limited edition Kaboom lip gloss from the Arcane collection , but a bit more sparkly in my opinion . It also seems like the black base is a bit more pigmented too , in certain lighting my lips look way more dark than sparkly .Oh and before I forget , the gloss is scented ; like a light rose water fragrance . For me it doesn’t really bother me , but I thought I would mention it since fragrances can be a turn of for some people . 

This is how it looks without flash , it does kind of emphasize lip lines up close , but looks better from further away.

With the flash you can see the holographic shimmer, it’s honestly super shiny.

super cool gloss which would look great over another dark vampy color ,for extra galaxy lips.

And finally for full face pics . I really miss my sea witch hair and made some bad decisions to try and do some pink after it faded . Well it took me a while (almost a whole month) to fade the pink but I’m back to a different shade of blue. I do want to go back to this bright turquoise look though.

I do think I have some pics of the eye look too since I used the Girlcult palette along with some hades from Glamlite and Beauty Bay. Also have you all heard that Beauty bay was sold ? I’m not sure how bought it or if they’re changing the formula’s but I was pretty sad to hear they were changing it up.

And the new Lagoon Blue hair ! I actually do like it but it’s definitely different than Sea Witch . maybe I can combine them to make my own custom shade .

Also here my lipstick pulls more brownish , but still very shiny. Now I do have a more green /brown based gloss in the same line called fire fly that I’m going to be reviewing soon as well . Also GirlCult just released a new collection that has multiple grey/purple toned lipsticks and glosses . So I may need to order more Girlcult soon. I have a huge soft spot for purple/grey toned lipsticks products . They’re essentially my go to neutral colors . So overall this another quality Girl Cult product and I look forward to what ever else they release. Let me know in the comments what you think , I love hearing from you all.
