fine’ry sweet on the outside body mist review

*This product was sent out to me for testing purposes from The Fine’ry and Influenster in exchange for my honest review . 

So I was actually sent two products ! A body mist and a perfume ! I’ll be reviewing the perfume seperately but for now let’s check out the Sweet on the Outside body mist . 

Before being chosen to review these products , I had never heard of the Fine’ry before and learned that this is a Target brand that dupes famous perfumes . And a little more reading online , I found out that Sweet on the Outside is meant to be a dupe for the Eilish perfume . Since I’m not super knowlegdable about perfumes , I decided to visit Ulta and find a bottle of Eilish to test out .

I do remember seeing this bottle a few times , but have never really thought to try it out . I spritzed a bit on the paper and a little on my hand . And wow this initial top scent was really strong ! It was very alcohol heavy , along with sort of a smokey woodsy scent , some floral . But mostly the strong alcohol which I was not a fan of . I really didn’t like it at first , it did finally dry down and I was able to smell a bit of the vanilla and maybe a faint cocoa scent . It was nice , but I really didn’t care for the first stage of Eilish .
Now Sweet on the Outside , at least the body mist doesn’t have that strong alcohol scent , and right away , it’s smoked woods , but not too smokey , along with the nice warm vanilla and possibly brown sugar notes .

I was able to get the nice cocoa notes when I layered with the maui moisture hair care :nourish &moisture +coconut milk weightless oil mist. This hair mist has a nice sugar coconut scent and really blends well with the vanilla notes.  Overall i do like this body mist , probably more than the actual Eilish pefume I tried in store , it’s not as strong and for me is a bit more wearable .  The dry down slightly reminds me of YSL Black Opium but not as strong and maybe a little sweeter .  It also smelled a bit more vanilla , and while Eilish is supposed to have a bit of a berry scent too , I really didn’t detect berries in Sweet on the Outside .  I do think it lasts pretty long for a body spray , at least for me . I have a sweater that still sort of smells like vanilla and even one of my plushies has a nice warm vanilla scent .  I also like that woodsy smell is there but it’s not overwhelming . Overall I would recommend this to those that like smoked vanilla scents and even those that want a ncie alternative to Eilish , it’s not as strong but still smells nice .  let me know what you think and if you have tried any of the other Fine’ry dupes before ? what are some of your favorites ?
