jem and the Hologram’s Aja rainbow look !

Happy Halloween everyone ! I decided I would try some Jem and the Hologram’s style makeup again , but this time I will be doing Aja’s makeup with a twist.

Aja’s one of my favorite Hologram’s member, although my first try with the outfit looked more like Stormer from the rival Misfits. Maybe I’ll do  Stormer look when I redye my hair . 

Also i do remember trying Aja makeup before and it was also when my hair was more faded . I don’t know why my hair is always faded before Halloween but it always is .

Not my best work , I did try to keep the pink more simple though. I think I could’ve brought down the angles a bit more and made the star bigger. 

my loAlso these snap chat pics were so blurry. I still like the pink shirt so I reused it for my new pictures as well. 

Now for my new Aja makeup , I wanted to keep the little blue squiggle , make the star bigger , and also do a pastel rainbow blend instead of the pink. I thought it would make the look a bit more fresh and interesting. Also I’m using Fenty’s Bubble Binge Gloss bomb , which is super bright Barbie ( or Jem ) pink.

I also applied my foundation before doing the eye makeup as I wanted all my imperfections to be covered. 

I pulled out so many palletes for this look, and honestly Halloween is a great time and excuse to try and pan some older palettes.

My main one was this Sugarpill Funsize ,it’s still one of my favorites as it’s a pastel with a nice amount of brightness .  Especially when going over Nyx jumbo liner in Milk. 

I used pretty much all of the colors here except Game Over and High Score . I did start with Contine? which is the yellowy olive tone , and blended some yellow from the Makeup Revolution Birds of Paradise palette

I also used a bit of macaw and island to blend some of my purples into blue .

I did feel like I needed to blend in another lavender shade as well so I pulled out this palette . The Juvia’s Place Violets.

You can’t really tell by the picture but that lighter lavender matte is starting to get a bit of a dip in it. I use this shade the most .

The Glamlite donut palette was also pulled out for some blending as well , I used Eye-cing and Frosty with a tiny bit of So Sweet , and the blue shimmer Sprinkles was used for the squiggle and Star.

I do really love this palette and i’m considering buying the Ice Cream from Glamlite as well. I loved all thier food themed palettes , but I’ve been kind of lukewarm on the horror movies one. Not that I don’t like horror movies , but I’m not a fan of slasher movies , I’m more of an alien or ghost paranormal horror fan.  or Stephen King , lets have a Pet Semetary or Carrie themed palette . although I guess Makeup Revolution had the Pennywise collection based on It. maybe I should check that out too.

And finally , I decied to white out my brows with the white liner . It basically frosted them and made it easier to apply the blue shadow from the Juvia’s Place Warrior 3 palette.

Gola is such a pretty color , and so is Karama . I’ll have to use this palette more in the future.

And here’s a closer look at my eyes ! I guess Milk didn’t quite cover my brows that well , but from a distance it does look more blue.

I also added liner to more define my eyes too .

My first outfit :

at first I like this one , but the more i got looking at it , the more it seemed like a Misfit outfit and more like something Stormer ( also has blue hair ) would wear. But Stormer’s makeup colors are more greens and oranges , so maybe I’ll save that for another time.

I had a lot of fun doing this look and it does look a bit more clownish , but it’s Halloween .And you know what I could’ve used some of my larger blue shadow pods to chalk my hair . A friend of mine showed me that , and it does totalty work , if you have enough eyeshadow and also if your hair is light enough . Of course some shadows might stain hair so keep that in mind .
