It’s now time to review the final Prada Beauty product, the foundation!
Now the claims for this particular foundation are that it’s skin optimizing , it has vitamin E , Niancinamide and a spf 17 . At first I thought it was a skin tint with spf similar to the Fit Me foundation by Maybelline.
But when I tried to use it like a skin tint , it just didn’t cover my face very well, and it really wasn’t doing any of my acne scars or blemishes any favors.
So I used more , almost more than I would normally use for some of my other foundations. Even with full to medium coverage I try to go a less is more approach to kind of avoid the cakey look.

Also this product is heavily scented very similar to the Prada lip balm from last review.
And just like the lipbalm the packaging is refillable, so if you do like this foundation you can order a refill on Prada’s website. The first bottle being $70 and the refill being $55.
The formula is very similar to sunscreen , slightly oil or tacky but dries down on my face to be more matte like.
The shade match actually did blend into my skin pretty well .
I was not a super fan of this perfumy scent , nor really the coverage and I didn’t really notice any skin benefits either. I’ve used the foundation for about 3 to 4 weeks since I’ve gotten it , and I’ve used two different primers with it, no primer some days , setting spray and setting powder. Still not really good results . I have two pictures that i was able to take .The first I used with one of my eyeshadow looks .
It looks okay here but there’s just something off . I did use a little tiny amount of blush to bring out color on my cheeks and you can layer products with it for those curious if you could add concealer , blush, contour, ect. It does look sort of natural in the lighting here but I feel like some of my other foundations are just better.
Now for this week’s final Prada foundation look.
I just keep noticing the acne showing on my chin area . I’m not a fan of how it makes it look worse lol.
I did use primer for both pictures and I do feel like primer does work with this product as it kind of just melted off my face without one time when I went out.
Also the scent does go away , but I’m still not a fan of it when I’m applying it . Also this foundation seems to work better when you spread it around on a brush vs just using a blender. I do still prefer using the blender as it gives my skin a less cakey look But for those interested in the foundation brush is the easier way to go.
Overall I’m not a huge fan of this product , it has some issues with my skin type but if you have like a normal skin type with not a lot of blemishes or acne this might work for you. I didn’t notice any oxidation issues , like turning orange, which is good. But it’s just really pricey for what it is and there are way better options for foundations, skin tint and spf foundation skin tints within the drugstore , midrange makeup lines. I don’t think this is worth the $77 and it’s mostly just the name you would be paying for. So let me know in the comments what you think and what your favorite foundations with spf are?

My favorite is the Urban Decay Hydromania Foundation.

I don’t think I’ve tried the Hydromania one yet. Sounds pretty cool though. Is it more medium coverage or like a skin tint style foundation?

It can be both. It’s buildable to medium coverage.

Oh the scent is so bad and overpowering. It’s not even a good floral scent, it’s very in your face (literally haha ) and just not a nice product to put on . Also way too pricey for what it is in my opinion.
