eos Pumpkin & apples :whippeD pumpkin latte and autumn apple cider lip balm review

Hey everyone ! It’s finally Fall and that means pumpkin spice and apple cider lip balms ! I was pleasantly surprised when we were shopping and my fiance who normally doesn’t like pumpkin pie , wanted to try this set and another pumpkin creme brule set. I was like wait I thought didn’t like pumpkin pie, and he was all nope he just doesn’t like the custurd style texture . But he likes the smell, so that mystery was solved . Also that reminds me if you live in Singapore or are going there this month , you can try a spook-a-ccino with sweet potato sauce , matcha powder and a spooky black cat.

I’m so sad this is not in America as this looks amazing ! Plus I love Sweet potato !My Mom used to make Sweet Potato pie .  Also this would probably make a great lip balm flavor too. So anyone who may read this post and you live in Singapore , let me know how this tastes , cause it looks amazing!

Okay back to the lipbalms!

The first one that we tried was the whipped  pumpkin latte . I was kind of prepared to be slightly disappointed as some of their cream based flavors have been a miss . But this one is actually pretty good, similar to the  Caramel Brulée Sleigh, but with a nice spicy twist. There’s the vanilla notes , cinnamon, maybe a slight bit of nutmeg. It reminds me of my pumpkin spice mix in my spice rack to be honest. But with the creamy notes so the spice isn’t overpowering. It went on my lips pretty smooth but a bit more waxy than the sunset sips strawberry lemonade and Guava Berry Punch and a few of the other summer flavors. Those were more oily or smooth imo. But I like this one, as it feels like it stays on your lips a little longer.

The second flavor is the Autumn Apple Cider, this scent surpised me as I was expecting more of a tarte apple smell , but instead a very sweet apple scent. At first I thought I smelled some spices but it’s less spiced than the whipped pumpkin latte. I really like this one too as it reminds me of Thanksgiving and Christmas , with the heated up cider with the cinnamon sticks. Oh and orange slices , But sadly no citrus notes here , but good apple cider needs those slicces oranges . 

Overall I really like this set and was really happy with the scents. I do feel like their a bit more Thanksgiving than Halloween , but I guess you could have the Apple Cider for Halloween too ! I have one more set that I’ll review later whenever my fiance and I use these up. He really likes them too !  So let me know what you think and if you have tried these EOS flavors yet.
