OPI Nail Lacquer in Rub-a-Pub-Pub Review

I thought I would try out OPI’s Polish again since I’ve liked quite a few of their other colors and finishes . This one is a nice blue toned coal/grey color called Rub-a-Pub-Pub. I’m not really sure why they chose to name it that , but it is a pretty unique shade in my collection. This polish has a very wet look to it and shines . Not through pearlescents or shimmer , but just a nice wet rubber look.

Sorry for the blurry picture , but I thought it captured the shine nicely . It does look more black here.

Here you can see it looks more grey toned. I’m not best at applying nail polishes , but I do like how fast it dried . It’s probably one of the fastest drying nail polishes I’ve had.

This is definitely worth a try if you want a nice grey polish or if you want to experiment with darker colors but are afraid of going too dark. It’s got a nice shine and dries fast. But one downside that I noticed was it does chip very fast, especially compared to the nice golden yellow I review last. So if you are someone who doesn’t like to paint their nails often you may want to skip this. But I do like the color and shine.

    1. I do like this one . I think you may be able to find it on Amazon . It does chip a little fast but I do alot with my hands , like washing the dogs , and scrubbing dishes ect . But they might be remedied with a clear top coat.

    1. It really is . But I like the shine . And it’s been a while since I’ve had a black polish . I used to buy these one’s that were in a black cat bottle . Don’t remember the name , but it was pretty cute.
