L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Ballerina Shoes Review

So I decided to try one of the classic L’Oreal lip colors in Ballerina Shoes. It’s a medium pink with warm peach tones. Or at least it looks more like a warm peachy pink on me. And it’s a classic frosty look, which surprisingly I don’t have too many of.

It comes housed in a golden , metal tube, and is fairly lightweight.

I kind of like this peachy color.

Here’s a swatch with flash. Excuse the scratches, those are from my cockatiel. I let him climb around on my arm sometimes.

No flash natural lighting, it looks a bit more sheer here.

Applied on the lips it did tend to settle a bit in lip lines. Also it was a bit sheer looking in certain lighting. But it did have a nice frosty shine.

Now I will say I didn’t mind the sheer application, it’s great for when I want to go for more subtle looks. But the heavy perfume smell was a bit much for me. It’s not the greatest scent and is overly floral. I’m more into vanilla, or fruity scents than how this lipstick smells.

I know I recycled a picture from my Smashbox review, But I thought the lipstick went well with the eye makeup. It does read a bit more of a peachy-pink on my skin.  I think I do like the color just not the strong perfumy smell. It’s fairly easy to find and inexpensive but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has issues with scented lipsticks.
