*This product was sent out to me in exchange for my honest review

And now time for a short skin care review. I was kind of excited to try this product inititally but , after using it for about a week , I found out it just isn’t for me . Which is kind of sad since I had heard really good reviews for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream .

Also I believe this is a reformulation too . So maybe the older formula would’ve worked out for me .

The little jar is pretty cute , and inside the cream is fairly thick . I thought I had a picture of the cream itself but those may have been deleted. Well it was one of the thickest creams that I’ve used on my face , and it really didn’t absorb . Which wasn’t really good for my acne prone skin . That and the fragrance was a big turn off for me . The cream is really strongly scented , like flowers and it just kind of lingers on my face . As I said before , I used this for a good week and a half . And that’s when I started noticing more pimples dotting my face . It was a little disheartening too, as I had cleared my face up for most of that month just using Cerave cleanser , ELF Holy Hydration and Manyo serum . But as soon as I started using the Magic Cream , my face was super angry .

I’m not amused lol ! I know bad pic but I wanted show some of the red spots and areas around my mouth were just super bad . And while I’ve had worse breakouts before when I was younger , I wasn’t really feeling this product . It’s didn’t really moisturize or make my skin softer either , just kind of greasy , like the product would just sit on my face and irritate it .
And while I wish I had more positve things to say about Charlotte Tilbury products , this one was another dud for me . I did pass on the cream to a friend to see if it would work for out for them . So let me know what you think , have you ever tried a product that just didn’t work for your skin type ?
