ruby kisses no more blemish pressed powder review in buff beige

Hey everyone ! I’m still going through drafts and trying to clean out my phones pics . It’s taking forever but I’m a little closer to the end . At least I think so . I forgot I had pics of the Ruby Kisses No More Blemish pressed powder with salicylic acid . It’s supposed to be a close dupe to Neutrogena’s Skin Clearing mineral powder . I used to use that religiously for my oily skin for quick makeup days . But sadly it’s getting harder and bit pricier to find . I think Neutrogena may be phasing it out , but I’m not entirely sure . I did want to find a good replacement though , so I looked up powders with salicylic acid and found Ruby Kisses No more blemish powder . And while they didn’t havs my nude shade that I usually use . They had a very close shade . It might be a little bit darker but not by much .

It’s a really nice little compact with a fluffy pad too , but I usually use my brush .
The powder itself is very soft and easy to blend and pick up with my brushes . I do like to prep my face with a nice primer , and finish off with a setting spray to keep my powder in place and to prevent oxidizing .
I decided to just take pics in my bathroom and use my mixed lighting in there . For the most part I think it captures the foundation very well in here .  Plus I wanted to play around with my green multichrome liner and mixed two of my lipsticks together as well . This is my idea of simple lazy makeup .

I think the coverage is decent for a powder foundation , it doesn’t really turn orange and it does cover blemishes and sort of helps new ones from starting. I’ve had this in my makeup bag for a few months now and I generally rotate this with my other foundations . It’s very similar to the Neutrogena skin clearing foundation which I really liked and is pretty easy to find on Amazon or the Ruby Kisses website . I’ll probably be buying more in the future and possibly trying a lighter shade to see if that matches a little better . But otherwise I can wear this with concealer and it’s very close to my shade . Let me know what you think and if you have any other good powder foundations that you really like .
