nyx buttermelt highlighter in butta mint review

More highlighters ! I’ve honestly been so excited to try new highlighters and even wear them out . because of my problematic skin I used to be a bit more hesitant to really strobe my cheeks but recently my skin’s been more clear . Thank goodness , I still have a bit of texture but there’s just too many cool highlighters to try .

Last year you may remember checking out my first Nyx buttermelt highlighter, I grabbed the nice lilac one. But it was more sheer sparkles rather than opaque like this nice minty one.

And to be fair Butta Mint has been in my makeup wishlist for a whole year , and last Christmas my guy saw it online and knew . He knows me so well lol.

I really wanted to take as many pictures as I could before swatching and messing up the little y2k star imprint. Also the powder smells so good ,kind of fruity like mango and maybe coconuts.  My lilac one also has the same scent.

Also look at how nice and minty this is ! Between this and the Venus Swing and the Neutron Star ,  it’s a great time for alien/mermaid makeup. I love green/blue highlighters so much guys .

Oooh green holographic angle !

It’s a bit blurry but it’s a very nice green/ with a bit of a gold shift on my arm.

In different lighting it looks more like your standard white/gold highlighter .

For these first pics I went a little heavy handed with my brush ( which the fan brush picks this powder up easily ) and got this nice mermaid scale effect on my cheeks.

I also used it on the lids of my eyes too.

You can see how it looks upclose on my cheeks too.

A better shot ! I was also testing out some new brushes!

Rare hair up pics. Plus another new blush ! this one is a more faint Gucci glow , but I think it works for this look.

This is hands down one of my favorite highlighters and I now need to go out and try the black highlighter. I did see it in Ulta and Ulta’s website so that is definitely making my wishlist .
