nyx fat cheeks liquid blush in blueberry burst review

And more Nyx makeup for the new year ! Today I’ll be trying out another big wishlist item the fat cheeks liquid blush . I tested it out in Ulta and compared it to the About Face liquid blush also in purple . And you know what it’s really similar at least it was on my arm. I’ll probably try one of the other About Face blushes but for now I had to bring the Nyx one home with me .

Here’s kind of a brighter picture of the tube ! It’s pretty nice being in the tube , so I can just kind of toss it in my large makeup bag . I’m pretty excited as this is my first liquid blush to try out.

My at home swatches are so insanely purple ! like wow , it’s like a liquid version of Fenty’s Cheeks Out Drama Cla$$. Which I adore ! So it’s nice to have a good backup whenever I use it all up.

And here it is blended it , still very purple but with a nice pink undertone.  It also smells of berries kind of like Nyx’s fat oil lip drip .

Now lets test it out on my face .

I applied a few dots to my cheeks , blended them out with a brush and later patted down witha beauty blender to get a more natural look. I mean my cheeks are pretty bright but I toned it down even more . I’ve seen some reviews saying the color didn’t really last but for me it lasted the whole day that I took these pictures. 

I really love purple blushes and this one seems to work really well for me . I know some people apply thier blush underneath their foundation but I did it over and still got a nice fresh look.  

I even added some lunar glow highlighter ! I was feeling sparkly Overall I think this was a pretty cool blush to add to my makeup collection , it’s especially great for purple blush collectors ,if you have olive tones or even if you just want a different shade oustide of the normal pinks, roses and corals . I’ll probably pick up a few of the other colors like the papaya and dragon fruit neon pink . I think those would be nice to try out and maybe it’s time to wear bright neon pink blush too ! let me know what you think . Have a great week !
