philosophy pistachio paradise hair & body perfume mist review

*This product was sent out to me from Philosophy and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

Hi everyone! I was pretty excited to recieve this new hair and body mist by Philosophy, and even got to pick out the scent too. There’s actually three new scents , but I chose pistachio as I really like pistachio scents . Especially if they’re more dessert like. And this totally smells like a pistachio cake or ice cream.

As cool as the bottle is , it’s kind of hard to photograph. It’s clear and you can see through the otherside , so my apologies for the text looking all wonky. But according to the back of the bottle , it has pistachio flower ( but smells more like pistachio icea cream or cake with caramel notes . It’s sweet and kind of buttery and nutty. sort of like the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62. And the bottle even kind is kind of similar to Sol de Janeiro’s own hair and body mist.  But the second note is where Pistachio Paradise differs, it’s got a nice spicy cinnamon scent , mixed with a creamy milk. It reminds me of a Turkish dessert or latte . I really like it , I wasn’t sure I would but it’s really nice and it makes it stand out from my other pistachio perfume . It honestly might layer well with Pistachio Please , I’ll have to try that next time.  And according to the bottle there is warm vetiver, but I really didn’t notice it. The pistachio, cinnamon, caramel and cream all take front stage. It does eventually fade and dry down to a more vanilla-y slighlty nutty scent .  Also when I first tried it , I had to shake it up since the first spritz was very alcohol heavy.  It was kind of powerful , but I started spraying my self outside and just letting it set . I noticed it stayed the longest on  my hair and clothes , where it faded faster on my skin . But it does last a decent amount of time , like I could respray if I wanted to but I try to go easy on body mists and such as it’s easy to get carried away.  And before I forget , it does layer really well with coconut , since I’m currently using a coconut shampoo and conditioner . They smell great together.

Overall I really loved this , and I will probably use it more as a hair mist, since that’s where it seems to stay the longest. I would definitely consider trying out the other body and hair mists , which are a coconut, citrus vanilla , and the floral vanilla . Well let me know if you have tried any of these Philosophy mists . Which one was your favorite ?

    1. I never tried Phlur before but someone else told me the same thing when I showed them the bottle. Also I just searched Plur and the first thing was a similar Green bottle . Defintely similar .
And yes the notes are really nice , I’ve been wearing it all week .
