Hi everyone ! It’s been quite some time since I’ve reviewed a new hair dye , and today’s feature is yet another Iroiro color . This time I tried out the amazing Emerald Green . I’ve been anting to do a teal shade , as teal was one of my first colors that i dyed my hair . I used Manic Panic atomic Turquoise but because Manic Panic really doesn’t syick to my hair I had to swap to Hot Topic’s Raw brand in Twisted Teal . I really can’t find Twisted Teal anymore and it had more of a dark green look than the nice blue based Teal that I’m looking for. So I was eying both Iroiro Emerald Green and Lunar Tides Sea Witch (or Cyan Sky) . And because Iroiro seems to really love sticking to my hair , I thought it would be best to try it out first.
My first 4 oz package . I had to order a bigger 8 oz size when I did my whole head after bleaching my hair . But this was a nice way to test it out .
This was right before a month before I bleached my roots , I wanted to see how the color looked with my grey/silver hair . I originally had Iroiro neon blue but it faded , and i wanted to go more teal . And since I was planning on bleaching my roots , I decided to go with just a side piece . It does look more blue based in this lighting as well, but maybe not as blue as iroiro turquoise.
Excuse the kind of blurry look but in more warm lighting it looks more green.
So now on to the full head application.
Here’s the dye in my bowl , it’s got a nice pudding/ frosting texture and smells amazing . Like yuzu fruit , cranberry and a bit of coconut . Iroiro is one of my favorite hair dye scents . And since it was a little thicker , I had to really coat my hair in dye . The first application was mixed with a bit of conditioner after I had bleached my roots . I did two rounds of bleack back to back , which I would definitely discourage doing . But me , I’m an “expert” ( not really please don’t ruin your hair and bleach back to back) and I’ve done this a few times. And yes my hair was really dry even though I use a lower volume of developer. So I’ll show pics of what it looked like mixed with conditioner.
I still had some blonde pieces showing , but it came out a nice pastel teal or minty shade . Plus my hair was alot softer after conditioning and dye.
My roots didn’t take the color as well. So after a week I decided to use more dye and just a tiny bit of conditioner .
And wow that came out vibrant ! I ran out of dye since the pack was pretty small but I was pretty impressed with the color . So after another week and a half , it was a little more faded . I also really like how blue toned the teal is . It’s one of the nicest Teal shades that I’ve tried and actually more neon that Neon Blue .

Here’s how it looks faded , it’s actually pretty nice and while I do have platinum blonde hair underneath it seems to just fade right out with no wierd color changes . Some parts of my hair are a bit more of a level 9 blonde and so it looks more green , but nothing terrible. I would recommend only using on really light hair for the best results .
I thought this picture shows exactly how light my hair really is .
And let’s go full strength Emerald Green !
After sitting on my head for a good 5 hours or more ( I was able to get higher up in the Zenless Zone Endless tower and also beat a few bosses.
Yay ! I’ll have to do a Zenless post one of these days as it’s currently one of my favorite games .
But now for the hair reveal !
It’s even brighter ! I still have some issues with an area near my roots but it’s nothing to drastic. But wow it’s definitely a Hatsune Miku like shade !

I honestly think that if I keep dying my hair maybe the roots will eventually get stained that shade . But other than that it covers really well and the color is almost neon. I love it !

This is for sure one of my new favorite Iroiro shades !
Back of my head ! it’s all neon teal !
Well now that I’ve had this color in my hair for almost a whole month and a half , I really like it but it’s definitely on the more high maintenance sides. I feel like it does fade faster than some of Iroiro’s other colors , so if you want to keep the bright teal , it’s good to have some extra dye to mix with your conditioner, with that said I think it fades to a very beautiful pastel minty teal shade . I don’t mind the pastel shade but I do wish it would stick to my roots a little better.
Overall while I love the color , it doesn’t last quite as long as Iroiro’s other colors like Neon Green Hair , turquoise or even neon blue. And I know some people do like colors that fade a little faster , so they can swap colors easier . For people like me that want the color to stay in a little longer this dye is sort of bitter sweet. It lasts in my hair longer than say Manic Panic but fades faster than other Iroiro, Punky , Arctic Fox or One n Only . I may reorder it again as i love the shade of the blue toned teal , as some other teals can be more warm and forest green . But I also sort of want to try Lunar Tides Sea Witch or Cyan Sky . Supposedly Cyan Sky fades to a shade similar to Sea Witch . Also Punky has a Teal color depositing shampoo+coditioner which i may try but I was worried it may come out more forest green. Well let me know what you think and what some of your favorite hair dyes or hair colors are . Have a great week !

When I wanted my shades to stick a bit longer I often mixed the smallest amount of a shade darker in, so initially it’s a bit darker but after 2 weeks then it’s the shade I really want, for a few weeks then it’s faded but lovely still for a few more weeks, which means I dye it less times. This colour is absolutely the BEST I’ve seen.

I would need to find a darker shade that would fade to work with it . I saw a darker teal but it looked a bit more warm toned . I might try another brand called lunar tides though which has some interrsting teal shades . I could totally see mixing this with a slightly darker teal though . Thanks ✨
