fenty Beauty x arcane collab Gloss bomb in Kaboom review

Yes everyone ! I was lucky enough to order one of the Fenty Beauty X Arcane  gloss bomb’s in Kaboom ! This is Jinx’s shade , and was super popular , so popular that it’s currently sold out . I don’t play League of Legends or even watch Arcane but I really wanted a holographic black gloss , plus I do have regrets on missing out on Major Flex ( The Roblox collab) . So I ordered the same week that these were released on Sephora . Now if you are interested in the other shades , they’re still available on both Sephora and Fenty’s website .  The other shades are a nude peach , holographic clear gloss , and a really nice gold .And there’s also the large vault with all the glosses plus the rest of the collab . This is a $250 , so probably only if you really want every piece in the collection . 

And let’s check out the packaging ! I do still have the box and keep the gloss housed in it . It’s honestly a nice little collector’s piece , and I could see League of Legends and Arcane fan’s displaying it .

Now let’s talk about the formula and color . This gloss is very thick , kind of sticky and it’s a little sheer but can be built up . Plus I noticed depending on the lighting , it can be more of a warm black vs cool. 
Here’s a super upclose picture in warm lighting . And you can see all the pink , blue and green shimmer , I do think there’s a few gold shimmers too . 
Further away, and you can see how nice this looks . 
Cool lighting and you can see it looks more black, like a night’s sky with stars.

Also before I forget this lip gloss is scented and smells like vanilla or cake with a bit of peach thrown in . My other  Gloss Bomb Cream double set , doesn’t have the same scent , smelling more like chamapagne or something similar .  So the peach vanilla cake was a nice surprise . 

I think this swatch really captured the sparkle really well ! It’s like a galaxy ✨.
And finally on the lips . I did two sets for this first wear test . One with flash and one without .

Here it looks more sheer but you can see a bit of black on the corners of my mouth . Like you can tell it’s a darker gloss but it does sheer out quite a bit.

without flash you don’t really see the galaxy sparkles but you can definitely see it’s a black gloss.

My not amused face before I dyed my hair . I feel like it kind of rubbed off in the middle of my lips here . But I still love it . You will have to reapply if you drink or eat .

Now for the next test , let’s pair it with the Fenty Traced out lip liner in coal blooded. I wanted to use Major Flex with it , but since it sold out , I didn’t think I would be able to try it with another Gloss Bomb , until now ! And I will say the lip liner does kind of melt with gloss over it even the Fenty brand gloss bomb , but It did seem to kind of work out for me . 
I will say I think the Rimmel Stay Gloss seemed to melt the lip liner more so , where this one does stay in place a little better . Also this is the flash photo!

and with no flash , it seems to be even darker ! I think next time I might try it with the Sugarpill Zero matte lipstick next . It’s another amazing black lipstick and I really need to reorder it .

I can be Jinx now ! 

If this was came out when I was a teen I would’ve died ! My dream back then was to have a holographic black gloss !
So yes I would definitely reccomend this gloss ! It’s shiny , has the nice galaxy sparkles for up gloss or in certain lighting , can go over othe black lipsticks or be worn alone as a nice sheer black gloss .
