bose soundlink flex portable speaker review

Hey everyone ! I’m pretty excited about this latest box that Influenster sent out for me to test . It’s this cute little bluetooth speaker . And wow it’s actually kind of heavy for the size.

I was super exited to try this out , and yes it does work for newer iPhones and iPad’s , it didn’t work with older 7th gen ipod touch , or my pc . And you do need the Bose app to connect with the speaker.

It’s got a nice silicone style cover and also nice little loop to carry it around with.

Also pretty simple buttons and controls.

Plus a charging cable .

It’s really pretty nice . Now for the actual sound , when I first connected it to the Bose app , I noticed it sounded overly bassy and boomy. I was however able to fix this with the EQ settings in the app. This honestly kind of cool because you can customize how much bass, tweets, treble and mids . It really helps when you’re changing genre’s of music and want to hear certain tones more .  All my music came out really nice and clear , and I listened to hip hop, rap, electronica , EDM , synthwave, and metalcore all to test it out.

I also tried with my iPad and used the speaker to watch a movie and some anime .  So pretty nice little on the go movie speaker . I’ve mostly used this speaker inside the house , and I’ve notice I get the best sound when I angle the speaker and place it in a corner . It boosts the sound and makes my music even louder ( even I only have my iPhone’s setting on mid volume.)  Now I’ve also take this with me in the car as well , but I haven’t really used it outside .  I do think it would probably work well , but I’ve been picky and didn’t want my speaker to get dirty.

The battery life for this is also really good and lasts a few days depending on how often you use the speaker . I’ve only had to charge this maybe 3 times since I’ve had it. They sent out the speaker to me almost a month ago, so I’ve had plenty of time to play around with it.  Overall it’s fairly dynamic compared to other portable speakers I have used over the years and is one of the loudest and cleanest to date.   Let me know in the comments if you have tried this or any other small bluetooth speakers.
