And now it’s time for another instant Boba review . I found this fruity mango and peach box at walmart but you may check other stores for it as well. It seems like different stores (Kroger , Albertsons, Safeway and Walmart) have different flavors. Sadly I didn’t grab the Apple Pie boba at the other store . Maybe next time . As with all the J-way boba kit’s this comes with three packages of boba , three straws, and three tea powders.

So rather than being brown sugar like for the black tea , matcha and taro , these are fruity and pink. the syrup in the pearl package is also different , more mango-y and fruity. Sadly it doesn’t look as aesthetic as it does on the box . Where’s the green boba that’s advertised ?
The taste is interesting , very peachy with a nice hint of mango, and sort of a powdered instant lipton tea taste mixed in. The best part of the drink is the chewy boba and syrup as that adds alot of the peachy mango flavor. I kind of wish they sold a huge bag of just these pearls so I could add them to my own brewed mango tea . I think the tea part needs to be stronger and have more rubust black tea taste to balance out the fruity flavors. Overall I thought I would like this one more than I do , but I do like the boba itself . Oh wait , be right back I’m going to brew some black tea and add the boba and powder .
It’s still not super aesthetic , but it does look a little darker . I used a black tea bag (decaf ) and added the mango peach powder , plus the pearls . My ice melted and I think it did slighly water down , but it has a nice fuller tea flavor now.
And you can see the little boba , they kind of remind me of fish eggs lol So if you do get this mango peach box , I definitely reccomend brewing some black tea to add with it rather than just water. It makes it way more flavorful. Let me know what you think and if you have tried these out.

Do you brew tea from loose-leaf? I’ve often wondered how I can make boba from scratch–do you have any ideas or a favorite recipe? I typically get the boba craving on a hot summer day but I succumb to the ease of going to a local boba shop and paying premium for overly sweetened tea!

So I have both bagged tea and loose leaf , which I use a small tea diffuser with . Aside from instant J haven’t really made my own from scratch , but a friend of mine in a different state tells me she buys boba from Amazon . I believe she boils the pearls and controls how much sugsr goes into the syrup . But I could definitely see using your own leaf tea and with the pearls . You could even get different flavors of tea as well too .
Also I always wanted to make pumpkin soice boba , I used to have a pretty good pumpkin syrup recipe . Let me know how your boba comes out .
