It’s time for my second part of the Nyx face Glue Vox Box . I was super lucky and they sent both the face glue primer and the setting spray for me to try out.
I’ll focus mainly on the setting spray , as I used it for about 2 weeks , possibly going on 3 .
I also forgot to mention that both products have maple syrup extract which may be the reason it moisturizes so well . I do like that this setting spray is low on the alcohol content as one of the other Nyx setting sprays that I reviewed had a lot of alcohol and it was bit too drying . This spray’s finish seems to be more dewy but not oily (like the wet n wild cucumber setting spray). It does work really with my eyeshadows too , I’ve sprayed over my eyesshadow to extend it’s wear time. And also I sometimes spray this on my flat eye brush and it picks up shimmers really well . So I’ve been using this alot recently .
Here I used spray on my eyeshadow brushes to aapply this older Urban Decay Element’s shimmers , and also over my Too Faced Born this way foundation . I haven’t run into any problems with mixing this with skin tints , powders or liquid foundations and it does seem to extend my wear time a bit longer . This isn’t the greatest picture but is in more natural lighting .
Here I used more powder products , and I think cream blush too but I don’t really see it in this lighting. Also right before I went out to run errands .
And now a more lived in looking look as I ran out did some shopping and also baked some pumpkins .
Plus better lighting . I did refresh the look with a quick spritz for a tiktok . My face does look a bit more dewy but not greasy and my foundation is still good along with my eyeshadow. Overall I really like this setting spray and kind of want to try the Marshmellow setting spray next when I rebuy the OG marshmallow primer. But I do like this new face glue set too, it’s just my second favorite . let me know what you think and if you have tried these out yet. Have a great week !

It’s pretty good if you can find it . Definitely keeps makeup in place and really good for spraying on your eyebrush to pick up shadows .

I still need to try it too , I also wanted to try the one with cactus juice . I think it has an Spf in it as well .

What would you rate the setting spray out of 10?

I would say a 8 or 9 . The Urban Decay Setting Spray is still my favorite but this one is really good too , and it’s definitely better than normal matte NYX setting spray which had a bit too much alchahol and was kind of drying on my face. This one definitely keeps my makeup in place and is slightly moisturizing too .
