iroiro turquoise hair dye review

IMG_9637Hi everyone ! I’ve been putting off writing my review as I bought one pouch of dye and mixed it with conditioner for a more pastel look , but I wanted to try it full strength as well . So I’ll be posting all my dye pics now !

This was my first pouch , the 4 oz , I used half and mixed with conditioner to make a really nice pastel turquoise. Also since I had rebleached my hair , I also had a bit of purple ( from toning ) and the color came out a bit more of an icy blue .

Here is before I bleached my roots . I mixed quite a bit of conditioning with the turquoise to get this icy shade . There may be a few drops of Punky Bluemania too !

After the great bleachpocalypse ! My ends look a bit more oceany and the purple from toning made the turquoise more blue.

and finally a few weeks after , I used more conditioner and pure turquoise dye to achieve this look .

IMG_9545I think there was still some residual punky purple and that may have made the top a different shade than the rest .
And finally I’ll show you what this color looks like at full strength!
I did go out and buy the bigger 8oz pouch , which you can order on Amazon or Iroiro’s website . I can never find the large size at Sally’s , which is kind of sad.
IMG_9637I honestly really like the pouch design with Iroiro dye’s , it’s pretty easy to squeeze out all of the dye , and it’s resealable.
IMG_9654The dye itself has a pudding like consistency, and it’s very blue . It doesn’t really look like turquoise, since it’s so dark , but it will lighten up with a few washes . Also these dyes are heavily scented and while I love the smell of the fruit and coconut , not everyone will .

and here’s my super faded silvery hair ! I have a few darker blonde areas near my roots , and I pretty expect them to go more teal or green . But since it’s under the rest of my hair , I’m not too worried about it .

my end’s are but minty , but it does fade nicely . So if you’re worried about staining , I would suggest not putting the color straight but diluting it with conditioner to get your desired color .

And I left this on my hair for about 4 or 5 hours . You can really only do this with veggie based dyes , other dyes that use a developer , you probably wouldn’t want to do that. So I played Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero while I waited . And it was kind of nice to have the dye on longer , while I love having silver hair , it can get very dry as it’s more porous .

And now the day after I rinsed it!

IMG_9706It’s electric ! I’m loving the way this came out .This has got to be up there with One n Only’s Pastel Aqua. It’s super vibrant and has left my hair very soft and shiny.

IMG_9710 A few spots on my hair were darker blonde and so it does look a bit more green , but I  don’t mind it.

IMG_9711Overall the color is very rich and covers really well . It also makes me want to try Iroiro’s neon blue , as it’s UV reactive like thier other Neons.

IMG_9751I would definitely reccomend this dye , as it’s super pigmented and dilutes really well with conditioner . It’s a beautiful shade of turqouoise and is one of my new favorites . i have tried other turqouise shades from Arctic Fox and Punky’s but this is the brightest and most vibrant with One n Only Pastel Aqua  coming in second.  Let me know what you think . I do plan on later doing a huge list of dyes I’ve tried and which one’s work the best. Some will have pictures but others may not as it’s been sometime since I’ve used certain dyes. Well have a nice week ! and let me know in comments what are some of your favorite hair dyes.

    1. Thanks so much ! I’m really liking this color too ! I’ve been doing cold rinses in the shower so my hair color is still pretty much the same ! Also can you believe I have a lipstick that’s the exact same color too ! I need to take more pics lol
