YSL libre flowers and flames eau de parfum florale review

Fragrance review time ! These perfume reviews can go so many ways, as I’m pretty much randomly sent a product and I have no idea whether I’ll like it or not . So it’s a bit like roulette for me , but sometimes I can really get lucky and find some nice scents that I like. The Libre Flowers and Flames though is definitely a pleasant surprise . 

 Also the bottle design is pretty nice too , I like the stopper’s asymetrical design.

The other fragrance I really liked was also another YSL parfum ,  Black Opium. And while that’s a more intense warm vanilla with spice notes, Flower and Flames is the softer floral opposite. There’s still vanilla notes, as well as a bit of coconut, but the soft floral and lavender really make it feel fresh and easy to wear for daytime. It’s sweet scent but not overly sweet, floral but not too flowery, vanilla , and then the hint of coconut.  It also dries down to a soft powdery almost dessert like scent .  Also my fiance who really dislikes most perfumes , liked it. He said it was inoffensive , light and liked the more coconut plus floral combo. 

I’m really happy that I was able to try this and now have a summer time counterpart to my more wintery Black Opium eau de parfum . So let me know what you think and if you have tried Flowers and Flames or even the original Libre. have a great week !
