*This product was sent out to me from Prada Beauty and Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
So this was a pleasant surprise, a Prada Beauty voxbox ! I don’t know anthing about Prada , aside from their handbags , and I think they make fragrance as well. But their beauty line is new or at least revamped and they sent out both a lip balm and foundation. The foundation review is still being worked on, but I did get to test out the lip balm.
The tube is refillable and a nice metallic sheen . the top is magnetic as well.

And while the packaging does look nice I feel like it gets prints and dirty easy.
The balm itself is this beautiful matcha color , and I love it . I love pastel greens , and while it doesn’t swatch this green , it’s really appealing to look at. The blam is also kind textured, but that goes away with use.
Now for the formula, it’s a bit dry for a balm and you really have to use a few swipes to apply to your lips, but it did make moisturize and make my lips smooth. But maybe not as much as one of the many EOS or Burt’s Bees Balms. I did think it worked nicely as a lip primer though for my matte lipsticks though. I have the driest lip paint by Coloured Raine and it did sort of help me apply the lipstick better. It still dried out my lips as time went on , but I will probably use this with a few other matte lipsticks that I have laying around. Now for the bad. I don’t like the scent, it’s too overly floral and perfumed for my tastes and it just lingers. Like all a smell is this floral perfume , and I can even taste sort of like soap. It’s not my favorite smell at all. I know some people may really like floral scents but to me it’s a bit overbearing for a lip balm. Also it’s a pricier lip balm (because of the Prada name ) and is $50 online , and while it’s refillable the refills are $40 on Prada’s website. While I can see buying a pricier product if it was really good , this one isn’t that great in my opinion . Like it’s no where near as good as say the orginal Bite Beauty Agave lip mask. That was amazing and I would love for Bite to bring that original formula back. Or the discontinued Bite Beauty Agave Daytime Lipbalm ( I had a mini sample and now I regret not buying the full size). Yeah this balm is not that good and only is an okay lip primer .
Last time I used this balm , with the Coloured Rain lip paint in Galaxy.
So overall it’s an okay product, not terrible but definitely not worth the price and I do feel this is more aimed at Prada fans , as it probably does look really nice in a Prada bag. So I would say only get this if you’re a hardcore Prada fan , and like the idea of a lip primer that’s refillable , otherwise there are way better balms on the market that are more moisturizing for less. Let me know what you think and if you have tried this or the new Bite Agave lip mask formula? Is it really a shadow of it’s former self? let me know in the comments.

The scent alone would put me off, especially if you can almost taste it. Ewww, lately I’ve just been using Vaseline simple but effective

Yeah this one is an easy skip . Especially if you already have something better in your makeup bag . I really don’t know what to do with it aside from using it with my Coloured raine matte lipsticks , as their super drying and this kind of acts as primer . But the smell is so off putting lol 😂

I wish they would learn smells aren’t good with lip products

Exactly , one of my L’oreal lipsticks is the same way , I don’t even use jt that often because of how strongly scented it is lol .
