Well I’m getting back into the hang of blogging a bit more . I’m hoping to finally upload some of the pics on my phone as I’m running out of room . I know it’s terrible I should clean out my phone more , but between all the games and apps and videos , photos are taking up way too much space. Plus my drafts are getting out of control .
So for now let’s check out CoverGirl’s new clean fresh Yummy Gloss . It;s a bit like a lip oil with a jelly like consistency , along with Hyaluronic acid , and acai and gogi, it’s pretty hydrating for your lips . It’s another lipgloss/oil hybrid that many companies are selling but this one smells super good. a bit like coconut and some Easter candy I had forgotten about. The scent literally unlocked an Easter memory for me . As for the color it’s sheer and pretty much non existent on my lips , but the gloss did make them really shiny.
It’s also super sticky , I had to really scrub to get this swatch off my skin. and it was still sticky , plus my poor fingers . I had to use dish soap as my normal hand soap didn’t work.
This particular lip gloss is super sheer , but it does look insanely shiny on my lips .
It’s also very moisturizing ! Rivaling even my lip balms that I use daily . Plus out of all the lip oil/gloss hyrbids , it seems to stay on my lips and keep them hydrated for longer .
My only issue with it is, after one week of daily use , I’m literally running out lip gloss. When I first took pictures and started using it it was mostly full .
Now compare that to a week after .
This one of the fastest lip gloss pans that I’ve ever done and it wasn’t untentional . I almost wonder if it was due to the thick formula . So keep that in mind if you pick one of these up . Also because of the hyaluronic acid , it gives kind of a tingly feeling to your lips . If you’re not a fan of tingly or sting sensations I wouldn’t reccomend it , but other than that I really like the formula and how soft and shiny this makes my lips . I’m considering picking up the soft lavender and burgandy to see if those colora show up a bit better on my lips . Well let me know what you think and if you have tried these yummy glosses out . Oh I figuared out the scent , it’s exactly like coconut jellybeans !! No wonder it made me think of Easter .
