miss dior essence 2025 review

Hey everyone ! I’ve been meaning to post some more reviews , but now I’m back. I was pretty erxcited to try this , as I read the description, a nice blackberry jam fragrance with a bit of florals. I’ve been testing it throughout the month, and inititally I didn’t get as much blackerry notes but more of the citrusy , orange marmalade sort of rind smell. My fiance also said it reminded him a fresh grapefruit. Also my first spritz was super strong too. Like after it the initial citrus died down I had more a fruity berry scent , that sort of mixed with the jasmine florals. 

Now the next couple of times that I wore this I got to really appreciate the berry scents a little more , it’s sweet , a bit synthetic but not offensive , I think pairing it with the citrus was a really good idea . It’s very feminine and can be super strong , so not really a perfume that you can do multiple sprays , as it would just be too much.  

I do think it smells different on my clothes vs on my skin . My skin takes more of the citrus notes , and then sort of mixes the florals with a light berry. Where as my blouse smelled more like the fruity berry , almost like a fruit snack or sparkling blackberry champagne , the florals are still there but not as pronounced like they were on my skin.

Actually I take some of this back , while writing this review , I noticed it did settle to more of a sweet berry on my skin, it’s just more subtle than on my clothes .

Also on the subject of the bottle , it’s pretty cute , I was sent the smaller bottle but I could see putting it out on my vanity . the black bvow with the pink liquid is really nice and while it’s not the same it does remind me of my pink Baby Phat Goddess perfume . That was alwasy displayed on my dresser. I really wish Kimora Lee Simmons would bring Baby Phat fragrance back. It’s still my favorite pink perfume.

Overall I really liked this one , it’s a good sweet, fruity scent that doesn’t overdo it with the sweet or the florals . Supposedly there’s a woodsy oak mixed in , but I never smelled it , not on me or my clothes after it died down . And one of my shirts that I tested it out on lasted for days , It was a clean shirt and even after I washed it it sort of had a hint of the citrus and jasmine. It’s a really strong fragrance . It does last fairly long on my skin , like hours . But it does eventually wash out when I wash my wrists or take a shower. Overall it’s a bit pricy , but whether it’s worth it depends on how much you like the scent . I would definitely advise trying it in store rather than blind buying as I saw some other reviews where some thought it was too sweet .  I know this smaller bottle will probably last me a long time as I do tend to rotate my fragrances  . I have been kind of curious to use it alongside a berry body spray or lotion but I really need to find something complimentary to pair with it.  Well let me know what you all think and if you have tried this or any of the other Miss Dior fragrances . This is honestly my first time trying a Miss Dior perfume , and I really like this one.It’s the right amount of fruity sweetness for me.
