Hey everyone I thought I was done with OGX , but I lied , or at least my fiance made me a liar lol. He really likes the Biotin & Collagen conditioner . And while I thought this was the same as the ogx thick and full biotin & collagen conditioner, it’s actually not. This one was way more hydrating and is the extra volume version of the Biotin & Collagen line. Also it has as slight purple tint to the conditoner , as well as being more lotiony and creamy in texture. It also smells a little stronger too, very much of vanilla , bergamot , and jasmine flowers. It’s honestly a really nice smell and does stay in your hair even when dry . I like it . And my fiance loves this for his hair. So he uses this and I usually use the Method Method Island Mist. While this one is more hydrating than the other OGX conditioner , it still can’t beat Method Island Mist for me. I do sometimes use this one too though and even mixed some hair dye in to refresh my color.
Overall it’s a pretty solid conditoner and is a why better formula than the Thick and full Biotin & Collagen formula. Also for those wondering the bottles look similar but this bottle is a darker midnight purple with a pearl sheen.
Compared to this one which is a brighter purple. Also all of the OGX line has been reformulated as well . So it’s a little better for those not wanting DMDM Hydantoin in thier hair products , they replaced with with a food grade preservative known as Sodium Benzoate. Also before I forget it is indeed color safe too ! I had no color bleeding when using this for my hair.
So definitely an improvement ! Well let me know what you think and if you have tried any othert OGX products.
