And my grocery store stopped carrrying my J-Way taro boba. And they replaced it with another brand called Yulu , so I decided to give it a try. It’s a smaller box but everything is pretty much the same as the J-way taro kit.
The straws i though were super short but they actually pull out and can be a little longer . Which is kind of cool , also you boil these boba in water in their package rather than just straight microwaving them . The tea powder itself is very sweet and while similar to the J-way taro tea , it’s not as rich in flavor . I do wish my store wouldn’t just stop carrying products , but at least these kits are still good. The boba pearls themselves are very sweet and brown sugar flavored , and have a nice chewiness to them.
Overall I do like this kit and I’m hoping they keep them in stock in my store . Also when are they going to start selling larger kits ? I really like these but wish they would have a bit more in them for the price.
I used oatmilk for my drink , so it’s a very pastel purple and pales in comparison to my purple and blue cow. Also who am I kidding this poor drink is barely purple , it’s white! I think the Jway one may have been a bit stronger in the taro purple . But it’s still tastes really good. Well let me know what you think in the comments. Have a great week !

It was a normal flavor. I wanted to know what a classic one tasted like so that next time if I’m ever to get some other flavors I’ll be able to compare it to a “normal” one. I loved it! It reminded me of a less sweet version of Thai Iced Tea (my favorite drink ever).

Ooh I’ve always wanted to try Thai iced tea. I’m glad you liked your tea. My favorite is still taro but Imve some good ones with honey dew and mango too . Also I love the grass jellies too .
