fine’ry pistacio please eau de parfum review

* This product was sent out from Influenster and Fine’ry in exchange for my honest review.

As promised , I’m going to review Pistachio Please ! This was one of the Fine’ry perfumes that was sent out to me from Influenster , and I was pretty excited to try it . Maybe more so than Sweet on the Outside . I’ve been putting off the review though as I wanted to wear it a few times and even let it set a bit to see if that would improve the fragrance . I read somewhere about maceration , and while it seems a bit contravorsial in the fragrance community , it did seem interesting.  Maceration is the process that blends scents in the perfumes and over time the fragrance becomes more blended. So you have a fuller body scent . It’s sort of like aging wine.  Or maybe I’m using the term wrong , it may just be aging as sometimes , at least from what I’ve read the act of spraying perfume a few spritzes and letting it sit in a cool dark place can mature the perfume and make it better blended . I’m not really sure to be honest . But I decided to test out this theory with this perfume . Fine’ry is considered a clone house , and makes alot of dupe fragrances , and while I really liked the Sweet on the Outside body mist, the Pistachio Please was pretty strong at first spray.

The notes are supposed to be Pistachio milk , tonka bean ( I’m super unfamiliar with Tonka bean since I’m a newbie when it comes to perfumes ) and fluffy vanilla. At first spray , it smelled very alcoholic and a bit spicy ( actually looking up what tonka bean smells like that’s probably it ). It took a while for it too dry down but there was a sweet note underneath all that spice and alcohol.  after that i was left with a nice powdery vanilla , with some nuttiness . Kind of like pistachio ice cream . I really liked that , but wish I could get through the harsher alcohol and spice faster.

Also I”ll rewind a bit and talk about what exactly Pistachio Please is a dupe for , which is the Sol de Janeiro (makers of the  Bum Bum cream which I still need to try ) Cheirosa 62. Some people  online also bring up Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato  , but I haven’t tried that out yet and my Sephora was out at the time of writing this review.

I can definitely see the resemblance in the bottles though. Vibrant , pastel pistachio green .

I do still want to trey this perfume though, so next time Sephora , please restock this !

I was able to find Cheirosa 62 and various iterations of it at Ulta though. I sprayed a bit on my wrists and it’s currently on one of my jackets now . It smells amazing by the way. Less alcohol , not as spicy at first and has a really nice caramel nutty scent to the vanilla and maybe what might be a tropical coconut smell. I really liked it and wanted that in Pistachio Please , which definitely lacks the nice warm caramel notes .  I did try layering Pistachio Please with maui moisture hair care :nourish &moisture +coconut milk weightless oil mist. I know the oil mist isn’t a perfume or body spray but I do spray it in my hair like a perfume and it does have a nice sugary coconut scent, plus it did mix well with Sweet on the Outside.  It was a little closer to Cheirosa 62 and honetsly i should be on the look for some caramel or brown sugar lotion , that might also helpt to bring it a bit closer to the smell thaat I want.  Also a few weeks ago , I decided to add a bit more oxygen to the perfume bottle so I sprayed about 15 spritz’s outside , and let it set in total darkness . And now that I’m using it again , I can safely say some of the alcohol scent has mixed better , and now the spicy notes smell a bit more cherry/vanilla . There’s still some spice there but I can now smell the cherry /vanilla scent more.  I think again it might be the tonka bean but I’m able to smell more than just straight up spice.  the vanilla is there at the mid , and dry down is more of the pistachio ice cream , sweet and kind of nutty , but it does still miss the caramel of the original Sol de Janeiro perfume and hair mists.  Overall I do like this perfume , but it was really strong at first and definitely needed to be shaken , sprayed outside a bit , a little oxygen and hopefully as it ages it’ll smell even better . I wouldn’t mid trying the body mist , if they make it like Sweet on the Outside . I think it might be less harsh .  Also I have layered the fragrances as well, Sweet on the Outside first and then Pistachio Please , it was really nice . And both scents last pretty long on me . Just one spritz and I’m good for pretty much the whole day. I think the Pistachio Please lasts the longest though.  Well let me know what you think and let me know if you have tried Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato ? How did you like it and is it worth trying ? I would love to hear your thoughts.
