limecrime soft touch lipstick in lucky me review

Hey everyone ! I honestly meant to review these lipsticks last month, but I got busy and just kind of neglected my blog . Also if you want to check out my farewell to LimeCrime post , where I go into more detail about Lime Crime discontinuing their makeup line. I got two lipsticks through the farewell sale which I gues is still going on but the soft touch lipsticks are all sold out. you may be able to find a few at Sally’s, Ulta and maybe Amazon , but the blue, green and orange are all sold out .  So I’m pretty  happy that I was able to grab  a blue and a green before all the stock was sold. 

And look at house nice this little box is. I’m going to miss this with Lime Crime , the packaging was super cute !

It’s a nice darker green too . 

And a leopard print tube as well . Very cute .

And the color is really close to the sticker on the package . That’s honestly pretty impressive.

The swatch is really smooth, and it was easy to swipe on my arm. It’s like a matte that’s slightly moisturizing. Honestly this formula is really good , and I’m surprised more people weren’t talking about it. Like if their other colors were as comfortable to wear as this green is ( which green is kind of a harder to formulate color ) that’s pretty impressive. Also this lipstick has a nice vanilla minty scent to it , it’s very non offensive and fades as you wear it.

On my lips  with no flash . This was pretty impressive , no bleeding , not streaky ( again a plus with an unusal darker color )  not drying, and slightly moisturizing . It stays put even when eating and drinking . Well depending on what you eat, oily foods will mostly dissolve your lipsticks . i love olive oil on my sandwiches and it’s not the most lipstick friendly food.

And with flash ! It’s again such a nice color ! And before I wrote this review , I wore it out alot for the holidays . It just seemed so festive and the right shade of green for Christmas . 

Now let’s see how I wore it with the eyeliner from my Wet n Wild post yesterday . 

It’s honestly really nice ! I love how this lipstick feels , it reminds me of an old lipstick I got for Christmas. I was a teen and super experimental and a friend bought me a little drugstore leopard print makeup case filled with lipsticks. They were all kind of no name , but my two favorites were a purple/blue (blurple) and a green that was really similar this Lime Crime green.  So it’s kind of fitting for me to be reunited with a green shade that I haven’t seen in a very long time. 

Well I’m sad they are no longer making these lipsticks any more , but happy to have this color . I do think that if you find them out in the wild , go ahead and grab it. It’s such a nice lipstick formula and the colors are really nice . i’ll be searching online and my Sally’s and Amazon for more colors . Also I need to run to Sally’s anyway to grab more developer , it’s that time of the year again ! Bleach time , well at least my roots . So next time you see me , I’ll be blonde and teal !  have a great week !
