nyx fat oil lip drip review in 8 colors

*These products were sent out to me from Influenster and Nyx Cosmetics in exchange for my honest review .
I considered reviewing one per post but decided why not do all of them at once . I was sent 8 colors to play around with and these are my first lip oils . Or so I thought , these lip oils are bit more sticky and more gloss like in my opinion.  And a few colors swatch or look similar on the lips . 

The top is Living the Cream , Chillin Like a Villain , Inside Scoop ( the darkest ) and Losin’ Cone-Trol ,as well as an orangey shimmer Follow Back , Supermodel the shimmery magenta pink , and Missed Call the very similar pink , and finally My Main the clear gloss . 
They all have a bit of a sticky almost goopy like consistency, sort of gel like too . The colors are pretty subtle and sheer , but you can kind of build them up . Plus I’m sure if you wanted a more intense color you could layer these over a lip liner . They also smell pretty good too . Like berries or dessert . Of course this could be the cloud berry extract . I had to look them up , as I had  no idea Cloudberries were real . They’re a relative to blackberries and are native to arctic . 
Now for how they look on the lips ! 
My Main :

This was the first one I tried ! And it’s super shiny and makes my lips feel pretty good . I’ve been layering it on top of my lip balm for extra moisture.

What’s nice is that most of these colors don’t clash with my hair . But since I was trying on so many colors , I went with a neutral eyeshadow.

Now for Missed Call

This pink looks darker in the tube but goes on a more 80s bubblegum pink . I actually really liked it .

It looks a little darker here on my lips , but I have more indirect light .

Now for Supermodel , this is the shimmery pink and looks very similar to Missed Call.

The one has a little bit of shimmer , so it reflects really nice . 
Again they look really similar on the lips , so I would say if you want to buy these just grab one pink . 
 Chillin’ Like a Villain is up next !

Up close in the light it’s a milk kind of color and is more or less the same color as my lips . It’s a good neutral for me . 

For afar it really doesn’t look like I’m wearing anything on my lips . So definitely a my lips but better shade . So if you have a similar lip color this might be what you’re looking for. 

Now for Livin’ the Cream .

I was really hoping it would be a bit more pigmented as I like the milk chocolate shade but it also kind of blended into my lips . 

Like it’s there but I would’ve  liked it to be a bit darker . 

Here it looks more like the tube . Not a bad color but definitely similar to my lip shade . 
 
Let’s try the other shimmer shade , Follow Back !

It’s like a shimmery bronze . So let’s see how it looks on my lips .

I actually really liked this one . It’s shimmery and summery . I feel like the shimmer is more noticeable here than with SuperModel. 
I also like that it’s not too orangey to wear with my hair color . 
 
Now what about this Losin’ Cone-trol. It’s a kind of chocolate cherry shade I was curious as to how this would look. 

Up close it pulled more red on my lips . 
Same with from further away . It’s okay but I wanted more of the brown undertones . It definitely pulls more red on me .

And finally for the darker chocolate shade :

This one I really like ! It’s slightly darker than the Livin’ the Cream shade , and is one of my favorites of the eight .

up close it looks more reddish but from a far deft more chocolate.
Well these were fun to try and Nyx does really well with their lip products . I do think they are less pigmented than the Nyx Butter Glosses , and a little stickier too . Overall they’re still nice to have for neutral lip days , and I’m sure people that want a more natural look will really love them . My only issue with them is that they can look similar on your lips , so I don’t think you need all of them , but probably just three or four colors . I did speak with another blogger on WordPress , and she had a really nice lilac shade . That one I do want ! So hopefully I can find it and review it as well .
