*This product was sent to me for free from Influenster and The Ordinary in exchange for my honest review.
Hey everyone ! It’s been a while since I’ve done a skin care review, as I really was sent multiple different skin care products and my face broke out . I had to basically try and see which item was breaking me out so I stopped using face products for a while , then slowly added a product a week to test by itself. I was also curious as if maybe I was just putting too many things on my face.
This toner is yeast based which I have not really been familair with in skin care , but I do hear it’s good to kind of restore uneven texture and dark spots . Also I don’t use toners too often , with the last being a witch hazel blend and of course maybe a sea breeze or clean and clear back when I was a teenager . I stopped using these as they seemed to really dry may face out and make my skin worst . Yeah old school toners were pretty harsh .
The bottle is glass and frosted . While the toner itself smells like lotion. I was honestly pretty excited to try this once it arrived . But sadly after weeks of trial and error and mixing and matching with other parts of my skincare routine . This toner really didn’t work for me and seemed to make my skin so much worse. I’ve heard mixed things about yeast in skincare , either being good for those with acne or really horrible . In my case it was kind of bad , so I just wouldn’t reccomend this product to anyone with oily or acne prone skin .I feel like though it may be alright for people with dry skin though as my fiance used it and didn’t have any issues . Of course he just didn’t like the product at ll as he thought the scent was wierd .
I was a bit let down by this toner , but I would still be willing to try other products by The Ordinary as it seems their packaging and bottle are very nice and it looks like a quality product. Just didn’t work out for my skin type. Let me know what you think and if you have any other toner reccomendations. Have a good week .

I love The Ordinary products although I haven’t tried the toner yet. At the moment, I’m using the “Glycolic Acid Toner” from The Inkey List. It’s pretty good and is helping with my hyperpigmentation.

Yeah, this was my first time trying products from Inkey List but I very much liked the few products I tried.

I’ve been testing this one out too! Well, this and several other milky toners because I’m curious to see if there’s a difference between them all. I have dry skin, so that’s probably why it didn’t give me any issues that you had. It gives me hydration, but I haven’t noticed any other benefits so far, so it’s not my fav of the milky ones. I’m still going to give it a longer chance and see if it improves anything else.

Let me know how it works for you . I still have the bottle and need to find someone to give it to with dry skin . I do kind of want to try some other milky toners . Maybe it was just the yeast that my skin didn’t like .
