I know I’ve said this would be posted sooner , but I got busy and had to dig through my phone for pictures . I do really like this palette though and if you checked out my sneak peek post from October you can see some of my first looks . It a great color story and the cover packaging is really cool ! I love futuristic themes and I like when a brand has a clear identity . This palette didn’t disappoint and thanfully I believe it’s permanent as well.
The outside packaging is holographic and has a really cool futuristic lady surrounded by stars. I love how the light makes rainbows , it’s one of my favorite Juvia’s Place cover art to date.
Here’s the back and it has that same rainbow holographic effect.
And the actual palette !
Some of the shades are really shifty and look quite different depending on the lighting.
Here you can see the purple blue shift on Wakanda , Alien is very sparkly, Spirals looks more gold here but that’s also a multichrome as well.
Held at angle you can see Horizon, and Spirals look quite different.
I decided to tilt the palette to really show the color change.
I think Orbit is also shifty as well but it’s dominant color is a blurple that kind of shifts to be more blue . Spirit does kind of have a greenish hue too , but it’s mostly when swatched or applied .
The mattes are also pretty good , some take a bit more time to blend out . I used Stars, Mars,Solar and Discovery the most. Some of the mattes do have a bit of sparkle but it mostly goes away when blended. Well I guess I still noticed some sparkle remaining in Discovery. The other interesting shades were Alien, Aurora, Ancestors as well as Spirit . I really liked playing around with these but mostly in the recent months , as before I was obsessed with just using the shifty multichromes and duochromes.
Here’s the first two rows , the multichromes look more sheer here but stand out fantastically on a black base. I use a black or white liner to really get them to stay and reflect.
I think I was a madwoman I somehow was able to get the rest of the swatches on my arm . It’s a bit hard to see the olive shift in Aurora though. Also Spirit looks almost white here.
A closer better look at the shimmers and metallics . Plus I like this addition of the grey and grungy green matte. It’s really fun working with these colors.

Now for the looks ! I’ll try to show off of the older looks with more recent ones this year.
This one I did to show off a foundation and mascara . I used the pink , purple and colbolt matte shades and blended them together ,And one other shade (maybe the grey matte) to smoke it out a bit. I also used Alien and Horizon together on my lid with Orbit on the bottom.
Some of the matte purple creased a bit but that might have been due to my oily lids that day. I do use a white nyx pencil as a base , as well as Nyx glitter glue for the metallics and shimmers .

This was one of my favorite looks with this palette as it’s very spacy and it’s just nice having a lot of silver and galaxy colors together.
Next up is my demon lord makeup from Halloween:
I used Alien here with Stars, solar and Moonlight. I even used the grey matte on my brow bone.

I forgot how much I love grey/black red combos to be honest .
And next picture is with some the sunburst oranges and metallic shades.
I believe I used Galaxy ,Multiverse , Bellona and a bit of Solar.

The orange shimmer here is pretty soft to be honest. But it went well with my orange/red lipstick.
And here’s a smokey orange and red look ! I used some that nice matte grey Solar in this look too !

My apologies for not being to descriptive with all these looks as they were saved in my phone months ago . I believe I used Mother Earth , Moonlight, Stars and Solar and Ancestors on the lower line.
And my very most recent one !
I wanted to do a sort of Nebula look with some grungier olive shades . I used iris and blended that into Supernatural ( I haven’t used this shade much) and applied Ancestors, with Aurora and Alien. I used Light ( the bright pink matte ) on my brow bone with a fluffy brush. And a bit of Spirit on top as a highlighter .
I think I may have also used Mars on the bottom lid for blending into Iris.
Out of focus shot to show off the shimmer . Aurora is a really pretty and unique color and I really like this color. I need to use it more often.

Overall I really love this palette but I have issues with these bigger palettes when it comes time to review them. There’s so many colors ,finishes , and combinations that I go crazy . I honestly think if this is your first time grabbing a Juvia’s place palette this is a fun start , especially if you’re wanting to experiment with colors and finishes. And while most will say some colorful palettes aren’t beginner friendly , I would say pair this with whatever neutrals you have and go wild . It’s got some great colors and finishes , although you will need a good primer (white base ) and glitter glue to get the most out of your wear. these colors are really pigmented and the multichrome and duochromes are really nice and shifty.
And I’ll go ahead and close with these multichrome looks. These were applied over a black kohl liner by Rimmel.
Have a great week ! I’ll have some more palette reviews up soon ! And always thanks for reading 💕.

Such a gorgeous palette, you created so many good looks and used a wide range of the colours. Love some of the shifts the colours do

Thanks so much . I totally recommend this palette, as there’s alot to do with it, and the multichromes and duochromes are really fun to play with .
