method pure peace volumizing shampoo review

So I finally found Method shampoo and conditioner in stores ! Well I found the Volumizing shampoo and conditioner, I wanted the Moisturizing one . But I decided why not try this one ?

So if you read my previous reviews for Daily Zen and Simply Nourish shampoo’s , these are some amazing hair products . They’re silicone and sulfate free and instead use a coconut oil derived cleanser. The volumizing set is peony and rose water scented . And while I usually don’t like heavy rose scents , this one is really nice and refreshing. My fiancé used it and said it was very feminine smelling .

And while that may be true , it wasn’t heavy . He did say he preferred the Simply Nourish better as it seemed to moisturize his hair better than this one . My thoughts are the Simply Nourish shampoo was better at hydrating , and a I liked the coconut smell better . But I do like coconut scents more than flower scents . Although it does remind me of something my Mom used to buy from Bath and Body Works .
Well smell aside it didn’t lather as much as the Daily Zen , wasn’t as nourishing as the Simply Nourish . But it was still a really good shampoo for my hair , my hair’s clean , but not stripped , and it’s color safe . I used it when I recently redyed my hair with the punky /limecrime , lunar tides mix and while I do want my hair to fade to a pastel shade . This shampoo just doesn’t really fade hair . That’s actually really good if you want to keep you looking fresh . I’m just oddly having the opposite issue since I want my hair more pastel .
Oh and guess what came in the mail today !

After almost two months , they finally restocked and it was sent to my house .

IMG_7910My fiancé was thrilled to have his shampoo at last ! So I’ll be using the Pure Peace for now .
I really love the Method Line of hair products , and while each one is different , not just the scents , but how they work your hair type . I think they’re all pretty solid . The volumizing does kind of give my hair a bit more bounce , but I also have coarse bleached hair , so that might be way where my fiancé has more of a fine hair type . I would recommend the Simply Nourish the most though, as smells really nice and is great for keeping hair soft . Let me know in the comments if you have tried any of the Method Hair products and what you liked about them .

  1. These look great, I tend to go for volumising shampoos more often since I have thin hair that needs a bit of volume but I think the moisturising one is great for those looking for that silky look.
