quick valentine’s day makeup !

Happy Valentines everyone ! My guy and I decided to go out for Valentine’s early the other day as our favorite Mexican Restaurant is usually packed on Valentine’s Day. I still wanted to get dressed and do my makeup ! But I only used some skin tint and setting powder on my face and focused most of my attention on the eyes ! Also what would be a great Valentine’s palette that’s not super red or pink based ? Why the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette . And while I did use pinks , I also used a few of the darker plums and purple from this palette as well . As well a the two shimmers , one a light sparkly pink , and the copper -coral pink shimmer on my lower lids .

After I was happy with the blending I decided to smoke out my eyes with a mix of shades from the Juvia’s Place Afrogalactic palette. I still need to do a proper review of this palette as I do use this quite a bit , even if it’s with other palettes . Also I liked the idea of theme of today’s look being kind of space or celestial themed and I feel like both the Mercury Retrograde and the Afrogalactic are fun palettes to use together .

Of course after adding Mars , Solar and Stars , I needed to go back and use Vortex and Hot Mess to really blend  into my next lid shade . And I wanted to use more a bright metallic magenta . I had to open some of other palettes to really find the color I wanted . 
And it’s the JP Culture palette’s time to shine ! And while it does look more purple in the pan , it’s more pink based violet with a nice magenta shimmer . I love this shade and I don’t know why I don’t use it more often .

• Nyx jumbo pencil in milk for the eye primer
• Nyx glitter glue for the shimmers
• Wet n wild liner
• Beauty Blender Bounce skin tint foundation
• Urban Decay Setting spray for my eyes and face.
• Revlon colorstay concealer
• Revlon blot it setting spray
• Fenty matchstix in Unicorn highlighter on the cheeks
• Milk makeup Kush mascara

I’m not sure what was going on with my icture to be honest. I took these pictures after I went out and came back. So the makeup is bit more lived in, but my eyes really held up.

I had to add a lipgloss again as my lips kind of smeared from eatting. But today was a purple day! Also hearts on my suspenders for the skirt !

I had the Angelic gloss by Almay on at first but it looked like something was off. So I decided to add Rainbow , another Almay Goddess gloss on top of Angelic. Well these were taken the night before Valentine’s Day , but I may do another look today, not sure , I do know we’re going out again , to either get smoothies or coffee’s .Well hope you all have a Happy Valentine’s day and a nice week too💖
